The problem

Five things have to be true
before anything gets built.

Whether the project is a satellite ground station, a battery energy storage facility, an edge node or a data infrastructure site, development depends on the same fundamental constraints. Most projects stall because those constraints are treated as separate problems. We own the intersection, for network operators, infrastructure developers, AI and data-center operators, edge operators, energy developers and infrastructure investors.

The right parcel, the right use, the right commercial structure, secured before capital and time are committed to the wrong location.

Real capacity on a real date. Utility interconnection queues now run years in many markets, so we work grid capacity, upgrades, redundancy and behind-the-meter generation as parallel paths rather than one point of failure.

Connectivity to the site, not merely somewhere nearby. Fiber routes, carrier negotiation, route diversity and the difficult last mile.

Zoning, environmental, aviation, municipal and utility requirements. Different jurisdiction, different rules. We work the process in the order that gets the site built.

We work both sides of the infrastructure problem: identifying and structuring the opportunity, and understanding what it actually takes to deliver the site on the ground.

Site Origination

We identify, score and de-risk opportunities before significant capital is committed. Land, power, connectivity and permitting are evaluated together, not as separate workstreams that collide six months later.

Deployment Execution

Once a site moves forward, we assemble and drive the specialty teams required to get it built: real estate, utilities, fiber, engineering, legal, permitting, civil construction, equipment deployment. Different specialists. One accountable process.

Find the location

The search starts long before somebody drops a pin on a map. Technical requirements, market priorities, land availability, power, connectivity, zoning, environmental constraints and ownership narrow a market to the locations that can actually work.

Then we validate the shortlist on the ground. The right site is where the critical constraints can all become true at the same time.

Secure the real estate

Infrastructure requires more than a willing landlord. We structure terms around access, utilities, expansion, construction rights, long-term operations and the realities of putting mission-critical equipment on somebody else's land.

And discretion matters. The moment a market understands why a site matters, the economics can change.

Route the connectivity

Connectivity is a route, not a checkbox. We identify providers, understand available infrastructure, negotiate commercial terms and solve the final path into the site.

Where resiliency matters, we work toward physically diverse routes rather than two contracts following the same trench.

Solve power

Power availability can make or kill an infrastructure opportunity. In many markets the interconnection queue is now measured in years, which means the grid date, not the capital, is what sets the schedule.

So we work power as parallel paths rather than a single dependency: utility capacity and upgrades, redundancy, temporary generation, and partner-led behind-the-meter generation where a project qualifies. Which path fits is a site-by-site question, and answering it belongs in origination rather than after the land is bought.

The objective is not theoretical megawatts. It is usable power on a timeline the project can support.

Clear permitting

Every jurisdiction has its own formal requirements, and its own unwritten rules.

We coordinate zoning, environmental, aviation, municipal and other approvals using local professionals where local knowledge matters.

Build the specialty team

Complex infrastructure is not built by one contractor. We identify and coordinate the right civil, electrical, telecom, engineering, legal, permitting and commissioning resources for the market and the project.

Coordinate civil works

Foundations, conduit, grounding, drainage, security, roads, equipment pads. We sequence the work so each specialty contractor arrives at a site that is actually ready for the next stage.

Sequencing is the quiet difference between a schedule and a story about a schedule.

Deploy the equipment

Infrastructure eventually has to become physical. We coordinate logistics, site readiness, specialty installers, cranes, network infrastructure and the dependencies required to put equipment into service.

The objective is simple: it arrives, it gets installed correctly, it works.

Troubleshoot what goes sideways

Something always does. A permit stalls, a utility schedule changes, a fiber provider misses a date, a contractor discovers something nobody expected. The plan is not the product; the recovery is.

Rob brings more than 25 years of experience in global network infrastructure spanning subsea networks, terrestrial fiber, commercial development and mission-critical site deployment. Over the last five years he has led seven satellite ground-station deployments across multiple international markets, coordinating the land, power, fiber, permitting, contractors and execution required to take complex projects from site search to commissioned operations. That experience became the foundation for Global Infracom's model: assemble the right specialty teams around difficult infrastructure problems and remain accountable for getting them solved.
